Who we are
BreathEasy Connect is a business phone, messaging, and fax platform operated by BreathEasy Communications. You can reach us any time at sales@breatheasy.net.
Information we collect
We collect the account information you give us, such as your name, email address, business name, and business address. When you use the platform we also process call metadata, call recordings and transcripts where you have enabled them, voicemail messages, and message content that passes through your numbers.
Website analytics without cookies
Our public website does not use cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers, so there is no cookie banner to click through. We record only the page path, the time of the visit, the referring website's domain, whether the device is a phone, tablet, or desktop, and a short anonymous code that rotates every day. We do not store IP addresses, and the daily code cannot be traced back to you or linked across days.
Call recording and transcripts
Recording is off unless your organization turns it on. When it is on, callers hear a notice before the conversation is recorded. Recordings and transcripts are retained for the period your organization configures and are then deleted automatically.
Email you receive from us
We send transactional email such as voicemail alerts, missed call notices, and account messages. Marketing email is sent only to people who asked for it. Every marketing message identifies us, includes our mailing address, and has a working unsubscribe link that we honor promptly, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the carriers and service providers needed to place your calls and deliver your messages, and when the law requires it.
Your choices
You may request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to sales@breatheasy.net and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it, and every organization's records are isolated from every other organization's.
Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to the Department of Justice's 2024 web accessibility rule. If any part of this site is difficult to use, email sales@breatheasy.net and we will fix it and give you the information another way.
